Maybe a few links would start things off better than my rambling...
Rotary vs. PC vs. Regular Orbital Buffer
Using the G-100 to remove swirls with the Professional Line
PC + #83 not "Cutting" it! - The Limits of the Dual Action Polisher
Will I notice a difference?
Cyclo
G-100
I think I like it!
Maybe that is a bit of a start...
I think you'll find the PC is quite good for a whole car... keep in mind it isnt for fixing the worst problems, or wet sanding marks, only minor defects. That said, becasue it is so gentle, it is like going from a cleaner/polish to a pure polish... one more step of refinement.
Also, dont confuse rpm on a rotary with rpm or opm speed on a dual action machine, there is no real correlation. People use between setting 3 and 5 for products generaly.
