Painted Fiberglass

Hello - I have motorhome with fiberglass sidwalls and aluminum basement doors. The entire coach is painted (I believe it is a clearcoat; 2002 Monaco Windsor).

Do I treat the finish as a car or a boat ? Some folks swear by the marine products for longevity but I have not seen a painted boat.

Thoughts ?

Painted surfaces should be treated like a car.

Are most RV's painted, or do they use gel-coats, or pretty even mix?

There isn't a standard, everything goes, paint, gel coat, coated aluminum, or any combinations of materials.

Usually the nicer more exspensive ones are painted.

G100s- Meguiars part number for the porter cable dualaction polisher.

8006- 6 inch foam (yellow) polishing pad.

DACP- Dual Action Cleaner polish, product # 83
