  • Black 2003 Chevy Trailblazer

My friend has committed to help me wax my boat in return I need to detail his Black 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. I have a PC 7424 and have used it on my dark grey Tahoe and light grey Avalanche and it came out great. I do not have any pictures yet but i will make sure i take them so everyone could see. The current condition of the truck is very good no scratches but it does have to spider webbing in the black paint but not bad. I know how i should start by washing, claying but after that is where am stuck.

    Anyone have any suggestion?

#80 with a #8006 pad followed by NXT.

What about #80 followed by #7 all using 8006 then finish with NXT using 9006?

I would use M80 Speed Glaze with a yellow soft buff pad, W8006 at the speed of 5000 opm's. Follow that up with the NXT Tech wax with a finishing pad, W9006 at 3000 opm's. If you want to use the #7 you may, but it's not needed, M80 is a cleaner/polish.

OK I guess i will skip the #7, but let me add the clay part after the wash. I hope to take pictures tomorrow but i can't even start this truck till about another week or 2.
