I got all my car washing stuff in mail on wednesday. Its cloudy out today so i'm guessing its a good day to wash it. But, on the nxt car wash it says 4 capfuls into a gallon of water. I have a 5 gallon bucket and the grit guard i bought. If i put just one gallon of water in it will probably just go to the top of the grit guard. Does everyone wash their cars with just one gallon of water or do you fill the bucket up with more capfuls? Might be dumb question but its better if i ask before i waste the nxt.

Just to give you an idea what I use..... I just picked up some 5 gallon buckets and I do have the grit guards. I now use 4-5 gallons of water(4oz of soap) and that seems to work best for me.
Like zsoap said find what you need, everyone is a little different.Brandon

You can always put some marks on the bucket your self, I did. I actually use two buckets with 2 gal of water in each. One for each side of the car and a separate bucket for wheels, tires and lower parts. I use warm water in the winter, spring, fall and cooler in the summer. I have a garage.
