Going to wash then hit it with DACP then 21.
How much time do you think it will take?

wow...that's a lot of polishing! Any thought to doing #66? It would save you alot of time! I'm guessing 7-8 hours...

Exterior only or Engine and interior too?

Exterior only. Took a look at the engine and YECH. Another day. Have not tried 66. Not familiar with it.

That's nice of you to work on it for them. No matter what you use, that will take a while. G/L.

What is 66? Is it a cleaner wax? M-0664?
Time and the heat that is building in here.
Now if I do "only the sides and not the roof.... nobody can see the roof.

66 is a one-step product. It has the same cut as 80, but it contains wax, so it adds a coat of protection. Just buff till its kinda clear, let haze and wipe off. I've only used it via rotary, but it cleans up neglected paint very well. I'd also get some MF bonnets, it will make removal VERY fast, and on a vehicle that size, any time-savings will be worth it!

has about the same cleaning ability as M80, but it's an "all in one" type of product. I have only tried it once and I liked it.

Well I have planned my attack. Color X is my choice. Gonna hose down the engine tonight just to get rid of the dust. Hardest part to do maybe the roof. Thanks for all the input. I'll post pic's when I'm done.

Good choice going with Color X. It is often overlooked as a great one step process. Works great on oxidized finishes. Mike Phillips intoduced me to it a couple years ago and said "It's like a cleaner wax on steroids." I've used it many times since.
