I know that when claying a car, you can use a MF towel to quickly wipe off any clay residue. I also read from Mike Phillips to not let the residue or anything dry, wipe it away. Just wondering, what would be better? Wiping away with a MF towel during the claying process? Or just a complete new carwash afterwards to wash away all the residue?

Well, what I do is wash the car, then keep it wet. I clay an area, then hose the car to keep it wet. Then do another section, and hose down, etc. Once all is clayed, I give a final rinse, and dry with the Water Magnets.
If you were dealing with a very dirty car, then maybe a full wash would be a good idea.
Keep in mind that doing it that way uses a lot more water, so if you have to conserve, then dont do it that way. Do it Mikes way to save water.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue
