  • chrome??

my car has stainless steel tailpipes that are chrome plated

theyre fairly old now and i was looking close up at them...the chrome is kinda scratchy looking..almost like the crows feet pattern when paint has failed

how can i know if the chrome is spent or not?? i mean if some hard work will improve things then i will work on it, but i didnt want to wear through and make things worse

    how do you evaluate chrome??

once Chrome starts to craze there is nothing that will restore it. Only a rechrome will fix it.. U sure they are plated ? I have seen many that were polished and then cleared . try a little paint remover in a hidden spot .

Even if they are gone, you can at least make them look nicer while you have them.

Give this a try! I've used it plenty of time, and it always works.

Never argue with an Idiot.. They'll only drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience..
