  • Pencil point size dots on windshield

My daily driver- a 97 Ford Ranger-has tiny spots on the windshield about the size of a pencil lead dot. I detailed the truck over the weekend, and figured these spots would come off with some claybar (used NXT wash as lubricant after washing the truck completey the first time), but they didn't. I only notice the spots in direct sunlight, but it sure is annoying when they do shine through. Any ideas on how to remove these "spots"?

Well, give this a read, maybe it is something to try..

    Glass Polishing...Deep Cleaning

Can you tell if it is on the glass, not some kind of dimples in the glass?

Thanks, I'll check that thread out. It does appear to be on the glass-not dimples or rock pecks.

No, I've been a slacker and haven't had time to even wash my truck Maybe one of these days I'll have time to work on the glass, change the tranny fluid & axle fluid, rotate tires, etc, etc lol.
