  • GOld Class Trim Detailer leaving streakes after a rain

I apply the trim detailer with a terry cloth and then wipe off the excess with a clean cloth.
After it rains, I always notice streaks running down from my mirrors and door handles.
So how do I prevent the streaks from happening?

I have never had this problem, you are applying then removing the excess so you would think it wouldn't run? I apply mine with a foam applicator pad, and there is never any excess to remove, not sure that would make a difference.

Sometime ago, I emailed Meg's customer service about the same problem. It's been a while because MOL was not even online at that point. They told me basically it was going to happen due to the fact that it is a water-based product. I don't have that email anymore or I would post it. I never tried buffing off the excess, that may help.

Hope #40 doesn't have the same problem!! I tried the GC on my car prior to my clients and luckily it ran after a rain storm. Better my car than a paying customer's.
