  • Claying Question

My question is, can you use too much lubrication (QD) when claying ?? How much pressure do you apply when claying ??

Well, I'm not an expert yet in that area, but it takes me almost an entire bottle for a subcompact.

    As for pressure, very little.

I would say an entire bottle for a sub-comapct might be a little much, but always better to use more than not enough. I could certainly imagine a full size Caddy or Buick or SUV being a full bottle.

As far as pressure, not a whole lot unless you have paint overspray to get off. Just regular dirt doesnt take a whole lot of pressure, no more than wiping of wax. (Just enough to not drop the clay).

With overspray, old tar, that kind of old sticky stuff, a little more pressure can be required.
