detailing order ??

I just wanted to know what order i should use products in i thought i would do it in this order.

1.wash with nxt wash

2.clay

3.scratch x

4.color x

5.DC Polish

6.nxt wax

what do u guys think? i knows it a lot of work but thats ok.

its good, you can scrap the colourX though because ColourX is an all-in-one so it cleans polishes and protects in one step, but you are already cleaning with scratchX, polishing with DC2 and protecting with NXT so you don't need ColourX

Use ColorX when time is an issue instead of ScratchX and DC Polish. You can follow NXT wax after ColorX if desired.

If you use a dedicated paint cleaner after claying, then you wouldn't need to use a cleaner/wax like ColorX as the ScratchX will take care of the cleaning step and the DC Polish and the NXT Tech Wax will take care of the polishing and waxing.

Meguiar's cleaner/waxes clean, polish and protect in one step and can be used to replace a three step system using dedicated products.

You're process should look like this,

1. Wash with NXT Car Wash
2. Clay
3. ScratchX
4. Deep Crystal Polish
5. NXT Tech Wax


Or if you prefer to do a one-step,
1.Wash with NXT Car Wash
2. Clay
3. ColorX

Those are all good products to have around, but it would be better for your details to look like this:

1. Wash
2. Clay as needed
3. Clean - ScratchX on tough spots, DC#1 for the rest
4. Polish - DC#2
5. Wax - Nxt wax is good, 2 coats is best.

And then a quick detail:

1. Wash
2. Clay as needed
3. ColorX
4. Wax - Nxt Wax
