Hey,
Just to add to Sneek's post. Meguiar's #4 Heavy Cut Cleaner was designed with single stage paint in mind. It uses a very different diminishing abrasive that works very well for removing severe defects. It is a rotary only product. It requires the rotary to break down the abrasives properly.
What type of finishing are you working on? What pads are you using with the rotary?
