Has anyone ever ran into chewing gum on leather seats. If so what is the best thing to use to remove it?

I did one time. Someone at my highschool thought it would be funny to but gum on the back of my notebook. I didnt see it and put the notebook in my seat. I was thinking of going back to the highschool and beating the living snot out of anyone I saw, but I thought about it, and didnt like the idea of going to jail.
I didnt really know much about detailing cars at the time but I ended up using dawn on a wash cloth. I pulled all I could off by hand and got the rest out with the washcloth. I followed that with a good coat of meguiars gold class leather conditioner.Current Jeep: 2004 Jeep Liberty with stuff

Re: Chewing Gum on Leather
Do NOT apply oil to the couch, unless you want your mom to ground you till you're a grandma. It'll leave a grease stain impossible to remove.
Take pieces of material or rags and place them on top of the gum, rub them in to get them to stick to the gum as much as possible, and then pull out. (like waxing a leg :-) ) The gum will come out stuck to the material, may need repeating, but it's a harmless way to do it.Commercial link removed per forum rules.
