    Hello All!!!

Ive been here reading all this great info for a few days now.I have some question and Ill try to be brief(remeber I said try!)

I have a 97 Mustang in black. The paint is in excellent condition for a 10 year old car.Its always been garaged. The problem is some scratches, they are very minor, but there are alot. From what Ive read so far,I think I should be using #83 and then a good wax.Is this where I should start??

I have a Sears random orbital buffer, would this be good or should I invest in the G-100 or 7424?

The process of removing scratches and waxing are like....well you know we all have one .Im a bit confused and could use a little further instructions on which was I should proceed.

I hope this is enough info to give me some advice,if not Ill post whatever info is needed!!!

    Thanks!!

The G-100 is much better for removing swirls.

Rotary vs. PC vs. Regular Orbital Buffer

As far as products, it is hard to say if #80 is all you need, or if you will need to step up to #83. Have to do a test spot to find out. #80 is the main product for applying with a G-100.

But it is really fairly straight forward,

    1. Wash
    2. Clay
    3. Clean - Test spot with #80. If good, keep going. If not, try #83. Do the car with #83, then do the car with #80.
    4. Wax - #21 Synthetic Sealant is my favorite, but you can pick which you like.

Also, you for sure want to order the "How-To USe a PC to Restore a Showcar Shine" DVD from M. Phillips and R. Lin. Wealth of info, really nice DVD. Cant recomend it enough.

I probably should add you can order from Autodetailingsolutions.com or showcargarage.com .

Mechanically, the Porter cable and the G-100 are the same. However, the Porter Cable has a fairly short warranty, 1 year maybe?, while the G-100 has a lifetime warranty.

You can save a few bucks getting the Porter Cable usually, just depends what the warranty you want is. And if you order from ADS (autodetailingsolutions.com) with the packages, it can get a bit closer in price.

Just so you know, we love pics here at MoL. They tell us a better story of what you might need. So, if you can snag us a pic, we might be able to make the right recommendations!

Order everything from autodetailingsolutions.com - Rick is THAT good.
His prices are great, and his customer service is unmatched.
If you get one of his G100 package deals, you will end up saving money over going with the 7424.

I am not affiliated at all with ADS, I am just giving some advice based on my own experiences.
