  • how to tell when you need to re-wax?

Is there an easy way to tell when you need to wax your car. I always assumed that as long as the water beads up good, then the wax is okay. Is this correct? At the least I always wax atleast 2 times a year but mostly more often than that. Thanks.

Ive read that most of the meguairs waxes(other than DC3) will sheet the water off and not bead. #26 seems to bead good for about a week or a couple washes then it sheets. I forgot to try the squeak test before I waxed it again this weekend.. I really wanted to so i could see how #26 was holding up..
