Would this provide stellar results?

Anyone see any advantage or time wasted in doing this?

#81 - to add a "wet look" to the paint
NXT (polymer/sealant) - for the overall look and long lasting protection.
#16 - I understand it provides the best reflection/gloss and is VERY durable
#26 - I understand it provides added depth to the paint (dark color)

Would this be worth the effort and truly "build" on the strengths of each product?

Hey,

I guess the best answer would be to try it and see what you think. I have for years topped a polymer with a carnauba as I like the protection and the warmth from the combo. But with NXT, I have not needed to top it.

So if you decide to try it, maybe do one side of the hood with just NXT and the other side with the combo and compare. Then post your results! I do know that #16 over NXT makes a VERY reflective surface!
