  • Overspray? How to remove?

My trunck and part of my roof has some overspray (I believe).

    So far I have tried:
    • Turtle wax Rubbing compound
    • Meguiars Scratch X
The paint feels a little better but far from smoth. What is the next step? sanding???

Here below is a big picture showing how it looks like. I'd appreciate any help.

I suggest you try again with the clay. It will certainly take some time to remove overspray, but I've gotten some off of my truck. The thing you really need is patience. It took me a long time to get the tiny spots off my truck; in fact I still have some overspray because I ran out of time and just haven't gotten around to it (besides it's not very noticeable).

Just out of curiousity, what part of Florida are you from?

I was about to get it with a 2500/3000 grit. It doesn't show much during the day and a little more a night with a full moon, but every time I run my hand over the trunk I have that urge to smooth it out.

I'll order some more clay (the red one) from Meguiar's and give it another shot. Do you know if the Mother's lubricant works well for Meguiar's clay?
