  • wax on windows

i haven't heard too much about waxing windows. should I? does it cause a lot of glare? are there and negative effects at all?

to be totally honest i've never heard of anyone doing this.

i park on the street in the shade under trees and i'm thinking if i do, less dust will accumulate on my windows/windsheild but i definitely do not want any glare from oncoming headlights etc.

do you guys know anything about this subject?

    Re: wax on windows

I have applied NXT Tech Wax to my windshield... never really noticed any additional glare or other problems. But seemed to me RainX was a better product for the job, even with the haze issue that seems to pop up with RainX. Just my .02

      Re: wax on windows

I've heard that wax works well on windows that do not roll up and down, and that do not have windshield wipers. I have never really found a reason to try it out; that's just what I've heard.

I use RainX and it seems to work well.

I use Klasse AIO on my windshield. Water beads like crazy, and it does not atrack dust like Rain X.

How do you apply that AIO? Is that by hand?

I'v heard of people polishing by rotary but never by G100/PC
