  • Gold Class Trim Detailer?

Do you think GC Trim Detailer can restore this rubber defect.

Or do you think I can use petrol to clean it? Or maybe diesel? I thinking of trying some combination to see. But I would like to ask you guys advise coz I don't know what could work with rubber? Thank you kindly.

A trim detailer will likely make it look better, but it wont be 'restored'. It would need reapplied every so often.

I think the best you can do is not stop the deterioration. I do not think you can reverse it.
You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.

I try using Armor All wtout much success. Maybe I'll try the vinegar solution and see if it can clean the surface much better. Then top of wt the meguiars trim detailer. If still can't work then I guess I'll try using petrol to clean. Petrol is quite good as I've experince just few mths back I left a can of Dunlop glue in my car seat under the hot sun, the can pop open and glue was all over my car seat. I use the petrol to clean it and all came off. Very great success.
