Since ColorX is an AIO, would there be a bonding issue to top it immediately with a sealant?

Not if you're using another wax inside the Meguiar's line and probably not any issue if you're using a quality wax from another wax company.
People make to much out of the bonding issue as though they were applying fresh paint to a car body, it's not like if you apply a coat of wax and it doesn't bond, the layer you applied is going to slip off the car and pile up on the ground around the car.
