Deep Crystal 3 step process

I have a 2004 Cadillac CTS I just got done applying the Deep Crystal 3 step process and I am very happy with the results.

My question is should I have used Gold Class liquid wax instead of the step 3 Deep Crystal System Carnauba Wax?

How long do I have to wait before applying the Gold Class wax since I just got done putting the step 3 wax? Can I do it tomorrow or will it be too much wax?

using a wax or another is just a matter of option . you can apply a coat the next day after you waxed it. that way the layer will be thicker.

Meguiar's recommends 2 coats of wax anyway.

Just make sure the surface is clean, so rinse or QD any overnight dirt, etc off, esp if stored outside.

You might even do something like a 2nd coat of DC#3 on your trunk, and a coat of Gold Class on your hood, whichever on the rest of your car, and see what you like.

You can never have too much wax!

Anyway, I like Murr's idea try both and see whats best in your eyes. I have used the Deep Crystal System, including the wax it has always provided great results. Now I have not used Gold Class but those who use it really like the results that you get from it.
