ATV Plastic Polishing=PlastX?

I'm about to purchase a used 05 Honda 400EX ATV. It's in great shape, but the red body plastic has the normal fine scratches from riding in the woods. Would it be safe to use PlastX on red plastic? I've used it on headlights and the instrument cluster with good results. Thanks!

I have a 1987 Honda that I've been waiting to try it on, once the weather warms up a bit. It's pretty bad after 20 years of riding. Take some pictures of before and after if you end up doing it.
