It is wax to help molds release.....
Actualy, it is used a lot by people who make things from fiberglass, like boats for instance. People coat the mold with wax, apply the fiberglass to the mold, and then when the fiberglass is set, it releases easier from the mold.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue -

thanks for clearing that up. it makes sense now. I was thinking bacteria mold instead
