I know meguiars does not say the plasticx x is made for a pc. But what speed would a person want to put their pc on and what pad would they use (meguiars pads) in order to achieve the best results? Any other helpful insight on using plasticx with a pc would be appreciated before i go and polish my headlights.

Re: Plasticx with pc
1. Clay the lens before you do any polishing. if you've clayed the paint good sign you're lens will need it to.
2. yellow polishing pads and PlastX will do the trick. speed i'd say between 3-5 if you're trying to clean it up. when you take off wax you put it on speed 5 so when you take off plast-x do the same to give it that nice shine.
just don't press super hard in fear of breaking the lamp covering.

Re: Plasticx with pc
in terms of products, i've been seeming to read most people perfer Plast-X. i haven't used 17 and 18 or 10 yet. but the next headlamps i do i'm going to try it out.
plast-x worked great for me though.
yes, putting it in a vice is the best. but taking the coverings off can sometimes be a pain.

Re: Plasticx with pc
Speed 5 with a 8006 pad on the PC is the best. I'd have to say that spelling is my pet peeve... its called PLASTX, not plastic-x haha. Anyway good luck. It can give great results.02 Ford F250 Super Duty
