  • Polishing mistake

Hi Guys, I hope you guys could help me out.
Last weekend, I washed my car and after I dried it I used #7 polish and polished the car in the garage with not the best lighting. The whole week was raining and a bit cold until today so I washed it outside and saw a small section on the door moulding that I missed removing the polish. The spot looks dull and it does not polish out.
How do I get the shine back?

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Polishing mistake

Try applying some more #7 over it to break it down.

A few things to consider when using #7:

    1. It's a pure polish and as such should not be allowed to dry, or haze, like a wax. Work it into the paint and wipe it off while still wet.

    2. It offers no protection to your paint since, again, it's a pure polish, not a wax. You should apply #7 directly to a fully prepped surface, and then apply a good wax or sealant over it to "lock it down"

    3. It will wash off rather quickly if exposed to rain or a couple of regular washings.
