when i detail my car i use nxt car wash, deep crystal cleaner, deep crystal polish, and 2 coat of nxt


i have a few meguiars product in my garage.

i have show car glaze #7 , is okay if i use ideep crystal cleaner paint, then show car glaze #7follow by two coats of nxt ? or is better if i use yellow wax #26 after #7??

they are both waxes that can each be applied on top of #7. And it also depends on what you mean by "better".

i read somewhre after use the show car glaze, a coat of nxt and the second coat with #26, is this good?

"better".. that the paint of the car have a mirror like shine, what wax is "better" for give me an incredible shine?

It's a common practice for people to top a synthetic, like NXT, with a carnauba, like #26. It's rare that you see anyone do it the other way around, but feel free to experiment. In the long run though, it all comes down to personal preference. Both are fine products and you do not need to use both. Try waxing 1/3 of the hood with NXT, 1/3 with #26 and 1/3 with the two combined and see what you think. Pick the one YOU like best and do it often.

I've never used 26 but I really like the look of a carnauba wax. NXT is, officially, Meguiar's longest lasting wax/sealant. Ultimately you'll get the most out of either one with excellent prep work beforehand. Don't let my opinion sway yours - see what YOU like best on YOUR car.

I much prefer using the yellow foam applicator pads to hand apply pure polishes and wax/sealant. I use a microfiber to remove product.

1)wash (nxt car wash)
clean (deep crystal piant cleaner)
polish (deep crystal )
wax( nxt liquid)
maintain (spped detailer)

or

2) wash( gold class)
clean(deep crystal cleaner paint)
polish ( show car glaze # 7)
wax( yellow wax # 26)
maintain ( quik detailer)

PD i dont like the idea of topping diffents products , i just apply 2 coats of the same wax. i think it works better that way

make sure you wait about 24 hours before you apply the second coat.

FYI, #7 and Deep Crystal Polish are very similar products. #7 was meant for use with older one stage paints (no clear coat) but of course it can be used on clear coat paints too. The Deep Crystal Polish is not as thick and you will probably find it easier to work with. When you use #7 be very careful to apply a very thin coat. Mike has an excellent thread on using #7, so you may want to do a search for that.
