New and need HELP

Hey, everybody. I'm new here and I just got a brand new black truck. I have been reading some of the other postings but, I was just wondering if anybody might be able to help me with what I need and need to do exactly so i don't mess up my new paint job. And is there any stores in San Diego I could find meguiar's products? I need to pick some products up tonight. I have the nxt wax that I used to use on my old truck. Thank you all for your help in advance.

It's gonna be by hand. Thanx for your help. I saw everybody said to clay it first. What do you recomend? And do you know a store that would have that stuff cause I need it tonight. I'm doing tomorrow. Thank you.

okay so you're doing it by hand.

the best bet is check a local Wal-Mart, Auto Zone, Pep Boys.

i'm not sure what's in your area.

yes CLAY.

evaluate your PAINT first.

see how it is.

just because its brand new it doesn't mean that its clean. during the delievery process the car can pick up plenty of contaminats from the train, trailer, the road,environment etc...

so evaluate first and then see how it goes.

and its black so you're going to notice everything a lot more.

take your time. working a panel at a time. slow.
