Re: How often..
There are many factors to consider when it comes to the frequency of washing, claying, cleaning, polishing and waxing. Some would wash weekly and wax monthly but do the rest only once or twice a year. Here are some links from past discussions you can go through and read hope it helps.
How long will a coat of wax last?
How often do I need to clay my car's finish?
How often can you #80/#83 in car lifetime?

Re: How often..
This might sound like a cop-out answer, but I do the whole process when it's needed. Every time I wash the car I check it out pretty thoroughly and get a feel for how things are progressing. My 2004 PT Cruiser, for example, just got the "full treatment" (wash, clay, polish, wax) for the first time in a year and a half. During that time I did do a light machine paint cleaning on it once, and of course I waxed it several times. But I didn't think it needed the clay and full polish during that time. Of course, this is a car that doesn't go out in the rain, is always garaged, and is only driven about 7500 miles a year.Michael Stoops

Re: How often..
For my personal car that I keep at top condition all the time, twice a year, once in spring and once in fall. My brother does the full process on his Audi once a year, typically in the spring, then follows up with the regular A12 consumer cleaner wax 3-4 times the rest of the year, works great!

Re: How often..
i wash and wax once a week. she deserves it.
i don't have to do full detail to often b/c i maintain it real well.
i like to clay at every wash but usually don't.
just a quick question? will claying ruin the clear coat over time? some have said yes while others have said no?
MIKE any takers on this?

Works pretty well, although it is time consuming with all three cars, trying to pull my dad into car detailing, but isn't really working...Attack life, it's going to kill you anyway.
