What a coincidence, I just finished waxing the Pilot the exact same way. I used NXT Spray Wax last Thursday right before the Mercedes-Benz Extreme Makeover, then drove it, Thursday, Friday and Saturday to the Wild Horses Detailing class where it gathered dust all day.
This morning, I used Quik Detailer to remove the dust and applied a thin layer of NXT Spray Wax using a foam applicator pad.
The Pilot looks absolutely wet...

Hey Mike,
I had hoped to do my redo over the weekend, but the weather didn't permit. I did clean the car and posted some new pics, I can't stand a dirty car. I figured this was the next best thing. I really like the results. You can't beat it for a quick wash and wax. But of course I had to do the interior too.
Sorry it was gettin' kinda late, the light isn't so good.
My wife REALLY thinks I'm crazy now!
I was not much of a fan of spray wax until yesterday. I'm laid up with broken ankle and didn't quite have the capability to get out my pc and layer another application of tech wax onto my big black Hemi as it was sitting in the garage freshly washed.
I managed to QD the whole truck with Final Detail. (It had been sitting for a week and was slightly dusty.) Then I applied the spray wax. Because the truck is so darned big I was able to LIGHTLY mist the large panels without getting close to the trim, windows, etc. I misted the foam applicator before starting. I worked the applicator at right angles so the I was sure of completely covering the intended surface. The spray wax went on very easlily and came off almost as easily with microfiber polishing cloths.
My wife is off on a biking trip in the Hemi. As she was driving off it was looking mighty good. Hopefully it will still be looking good when she returns.
