  • n00b question

I know i'm probably going to get flammed on cuz i'm a n00b
but I just migrated to meguiar's from turtle wax
so I dont know all the products yet

but I pretty much work from 9am-9pm
so I havent had time to wash and detail the car
but this weekend there's an event i'm going to and I want to know what are the quickest products I can use to give my car a wet shine

I know there are a lot of sections and threads on here that can help me
but i'm at work right now so everytime my boss turns I glance at this really quick but I was hoping I can pick something up on my lunch break really quick and then bust it out really quick in the morning before I head out to the event

    Thanks for any help

    Re: n00b question

If time is paramount, probably the quickest would be wash and then Color X. There's a five step process to really do a proper job, but ColorX will get you out the door early.

    Good Luck

I'd agree with ColorX. If you can squeeze in a little extra time, Claying, and then ColorX would be even better. And claying can go pretty fast if you arent being too particular.

You will probably find the Smooth Surface Clay system these days, but same kinda box, just different name.

As Mort said, doing a full detail would obviously give best results, but you gotta squeeze in what you can.
