  • Too cold?

Since I live in the northern climate, is it ever too cold to apply polish / wax? This would be inside a non-heated but insulated garage.

I would have to say anything under 50 degrees the products are not going to work right. They design them to work at like 55-75 degrees optimal

I have yet to find the limit of how cold you can polish in, but wax is about 8C ish. Colder than that and you will be waiting a while, and you might get spotty results.

              Re: Too cold?

I guess the need for a heater depends on if I need to use one for the product or not.

Wonder if the air temp makes a difference or if its surface temp? I could use a hot water carpet extractor on the pain to heat that up.
