  • Just clayed

I just got done claying my car for the first time with the Megs clay kit. I was very happy with the results. The finish came out just as many said it would on this forum, smooth as glass. Since the temp. is going up to fifty degrees today I am going to polish and wax the finish. I was going to use #7 but from what I read here it seems that Deep Crystal Polish is more user friendly than #7, being new to this I am going to go with that followed by #21 and then #26. Being a dark blue color I think it should come up very wet ang glossy.

Claying sure is good.I never had the chance to use #7,#21,#26.I apply Deep Crystal polish before each wax . passion and elbow grease makes my dark blue paint look good. i follow by GC liquid wax.

Sounds like a good plan you have there. I'll just be sitting here waiting for you to upload pictures when you're finished.

You have a good plan of attack. Claying is one of the most critical steps in getting that smooth finish we all want. Can't wait to see the final results. Good luck.
