  • pre-moistening pc pads

I'm getting ready to start buffing out swirls and am in a panic...
Prior to using the polishing pad and #83, or any pad and any product for that matter. What is the correct product to pre-moisten the pads with? Quick Detailer or Final Inspection?

I assume the same applies when using foam or terry applicators for hand use...

      Correct?

I guess it would be ok to prime these with a QD, but I just use the product itself to prime a hand applicator with.

          ~ One man’s opinion / observations ~

Before applying any product I ‘prime’ the applicator with distilled water, to ensure that the product is not totally absorbed and to give the product more ‘bite’.

A QD is mostly water and will do the same thing but DW is cheaper. I wouldn’t use QD with a synthetic sealant as they also contain wax
