i am a total newbie at detailing cars.

i need some info on what products to use to remove scratches and swirls.

i have multiple cars that need this kind of work done, should i use a d/a buffer since I'm an amateur?

Depends on how bad they are. You could use ScratchX and a lot of elbow grease. If you have more than one car, this method can get old quick. If you can afford a D/A that would be the way I would go. D/A's are pretty easy to use, so don't sweat that part.

      Hey Nick,

Since this is your first post, Welcome to MOL!

ScratchX is a great product if working by hand, but if you can I would invest in a G-110 dual action polisher.

With multiple cars you definitely want a DA buffer. In fact, if you go to autodetailingsolutions.com and check out their "DA Polisher Promotions" link on the left side menu you'll find a "Package #2" that will give you everything need to get started and enough product to polish and wax multiple cars. I would recommend that you pick up a dozen more microfiber towels though.

Autodetailingsolutions has great pricing and excellent customer service.

Welcome to mol. The d/a is easier to use then it seems. I was so hesitant at first. Now its the only way to go. Good luck.
