Use what to wash Airstream tt ?

We have an Airstream travel trailer that has clear coat manufactured into the outside aluminum. I like to use nxt car wash on the cars and truck, but is it ok to use on the Airstream? The directions say painted surfaces, rubber, vinyl and plastic. No mention of aluminum.

If your Airstream has a clear coat over the aluminum you'll be perfectly safe using NXT Car Wash as it's safe for both paint and aluminum.

I sell Airstream trailers and any car wash soap will work fine for you. The coating is a polyurethane over the aluminum. Use microfiber to wash with and dry with. You should be fine.

How are people told to maintain the polyurethane coating from Airstream?

Wash and wax just like you would a car?

Mike,

Airstream recommends using a polish/wax called Walbernize. I have several customers using Protect-All with no issues. The polyurethane is applied by Alcoa before the sheets are shipped to Airstream.
