    I am going down to harbor freight this weekend and am thinking about getting one of these

      I've been looking at them for awhile now too. Harbor Freight Coating Thickness Gauge?

      The main thing is to compare the results to a more reputable gage. A person on another forum was going to be picking one up and doing a comparison. I will post his results here when he does the test.

        I have used one and it is a very good gauge for the money. Very simple to use and comes with a calibration plate. I just ordered one and will do a full review when I receive it.

          Speaking of the person from the other forum. Thanks much Pats300zx. I remembered reading you where going to be picking one up. I couldn't find the thread again so I was hoping I didn't imaging it.
