#7 is the top of the line. It is also richest in oils, so it can take just a little getting used to in order to apply and remove properly and easily.

DC#2 is much easier to wipe on, wipe off, even letting it dry first wont really hurt removal. Basically much easier for the average Joe.

Murr1525 nailed it pretty good, they will both give you the same appearance results it's just the Consumer Line product is blended more for ease of use, (apply and wipe-off), because the average consumer doesn't have a high skill level whereas a Professional in this industry uses paint care products every day of the week and thus has more experience, knowledge and a higher skill level.

Also just to note, correctly used, ANY Meguiar's pure polish is applied and then wiped off, you don't want to let it dry, it doesn't need to dry.

You would only need one or the other.... If you have never used a product like this, go with DC2 first, then can move up to #7 next.

Hi Murr1525, thanks for instant reply. I have DC1-2. No 4, 80, 83, 20 and 26. I got info from Meguiars catalog, that DC2 is an option if the car is clear coat system. Is that true? Because i always applied on my car, and i think it look more fantastic. I am planning to buy no 7, just want to compare.

All of Meguiars products are safe for clear-coats and single stage paints.

DC#2 is for the average Joe, and they sometimes need the extra re-assurance that products are clearcoat safe.

                  Gio,

I think there is a bit of a learning curve with #7, but once you get it down I'd recommend it 100%. I've never seen a better polish (at any price).
