Does anybody remember the nomenclature of the light used in the Detail 101 class to check for swirls?
The garage I'll use has absolutely horrible lighting.
yep Brinkman Dual Xenon, be careful though, some have a dual light with a Xenon and LED or dual halogen(may work though). I found dual Xenon at Fred Meyer that I'm going to buy next paycheck .
I currently use the sun

you can also buy a 2 d cell maglite and buy a xenon bulb. thats what I use and it works pretty well. the total cost for the flashlight $16-20 and the light bulb $2-6. You can buy both things at Wal Mart and Ace hardware, sometimes target. Dont forget to buy batteries.

When I purchased my swirlfinder, They had them at a store called "Tuesday morning". It seems that they always carry them. They are priced @$19.99. These are the rechargeable units.
