          There are double http's e.g. http://http://meguiarsonline...
The only reason some people get lost in thought... is because it is unfamiliar territory for them.

              Re: pic test

I fixed the code, you had two sets of http://

You have to be careful when you copy and pasted the URL address into the box that opens when you click on the insert image button.

When you click on the insert image button the default is that it already has

              http://

In the box. It's highlighted. Click on the insert image button and check, you'll see it's there and it's highlighted.

If you don't click on anything else and place your cursor over the highlighted http:// and then right click your mouse and select paste it will delete the http:// and replace it with your complete URL Address.

If you fumble around and click on the image box it will make it so the http:// is no longer highlighted so that when you copy and paste the URL address into the box it then has two sets of http:// in the box and you get a red x.

All you have to do is click on "Reply" and experiment and everything I just typed will make sense.

I'm going to write a how-to article right now with pictures and words so every time this happens we have a how to article that shows what to do and explains it thoroughly...

                http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=73&pictureid=322

See the word album in the code? That's how we can tell.

We're going to turn this feature off right now because people keep using their album for photos they want to share on the forum instead of the gallery.

                Sorry everyone....

Look at the gold bar that runs across every page. Click on the word "Gallery".

When you're logged into the forum and you click to the gallery you are automatically in "Your Gallery".

If you look to the right you'll see a text button that says,

                    Upload Photos

Click on that and it will bring up a user interface that will allow you to upload and name 20 photos at a time.

Click there now and play around, it actually works really well, I should know, I use it ever day!

How to upload and insert an image into your posts

Did you use the "Direct Link" URL? If so, then you need a larger picture resolution (800x600 is good).

You need to click on the thumbnail and this will bring up the full size image.
