  • Plastx on Carbon Fiber

    Mike,

Is it safe and OK to use Plastx on the exterior surfaces of a car that are carbon fiber? Or would the usual paint products be more appropriate? I want to keep the carbon fiber looking glossy and smooth and it seems to me that maybe it has a plastic surface on it anyway.

    Thanks.

Hot Topics is reserved for threads "we move here" because they are genuinely hot topics.

We've moved your post to Detailing 101 which is a great place to ask any type of car care question.

    Thank you....

      PlastX is for clear plastics.

Stick with automotive cleaners, polishes and waxes.
