Great find. There another option from harbourfreight but it can only read on metal surfaces.
      Linky: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=95520

BTW, Mark, if you do get them (highline), could you do a review on them. Thanks man!

Edit: Not sure how long I can stand before clicking the button for the Defelsko (must resist, must resist....)

Haha, well I basically have decided to get the $200 High-line meter. I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but I will in the next week or so most likely. I have been spending a lot on supplies and not booking jobs for a while, so I told myself I need to earn my right to spend the dough.

Doing a 2 day deal on a Jeep right now, another 1 day job Friday, and another job booked for Monday (Taking sat sun off for once). Bottom line, the meter will be coming soon

Just a quick shoutout to those interested in buying it.

The Highline meter's unit measurement needs to be preset from the factory. Therefore state beforehand mode you going to be using (mils /micron). Havent see the accuracy percentile on them. But from reading what people posted online, I didnt seem to find any negative feedback on them. Plus I came across a PR statement stating they encountered zero returns from buyers. Havent click the buy button yet though.

Which is better for us? Mils or mics? Thanks.

I would use the "Micron" unit to measure CC removal. It would give you a better idea of how much your removing, because it is a smaller unit than a "mil". If I was to communicate with others on the forum about paint thickness, I would use the "mil" measurements.
