  • NXT Polysh V.S. Blue magic metal polish

I have been using blue magic for a while and i havent really been satisfied with the results. How does the nxt stuff compare to the blue magic, is it better?

    Blue Magic, no good

I can tell you the Megs All Metal Polish is better as is offerings from its competitor. I'm sure the NXT will be wonderful.

I think Meguiar's is excellent compared to all the other products out there. I wouldn't even think about buying anything else. Just a thought.

Never tried blue magic, but I have to say I am very impressed with the new NXT metal Polysh (like the funny spelling btw). It cut through some oxidation in my stainless stell sink in my bathroom in one application that gold class all metal restorer usually took 3 or 4 applications of to get through. And it protected it a lot longer too.

Ok yeah I know using it on my sink is pretty lame, but I have no polished stuff on my car.

I recently bought some Blue Magic the other week since I couldn't find any NXT polish in the stores. I've only done a small area but it seems to remove the over-spray on my chrome wheels without any trouble. So far I have no complaints but then I don't have anything to compare with and I don't have any badly tarnished metal(usually don't neglect my wheels). After washing my chrome wheels I used the Blue Magic polish and, other than removing the overspray, I didn't notice any difference.

By the way, the overspray has been on for almost 2 months.

I do regular maintenance on aluminum wheels. I've tried Blue Magic and a bunch of others, but the NXT gives a better shine and better protection. Blue Magic is pretty aggressive in it's make up so you could start with that type of polish and finish with NXT.

Here's a pic of my wheel after NXT on the polished portion and NXT Tech Wax on the painted portion.

OH MY GOD!!! I bought this stuff today came and tried it on my aluminum radiator. OMG. I got a serious kick inthe pants. I spend 4 hours polishing just the radiator top and i came home and used this stuff and it looked better than it ever did before!! This stuff is amazing.

All the metal polish brands have various levels of aggressiveness (much like their counterparts in the polish/wax area for painted metal)

From my limited knowledge, here's my list of most aggressive to least aggressive:

                  Most:
                  Simichrome
                  Maas
                  Blue Magic

                  Medium
                  Meguiar's metal polish and restorer
                  Mothers metal polish

                  Fine/Billet polish
                  NXT Metal Polish
                  Mothers Billet Cream

There is also cotton soaked products like Never Dull (which the chemical is not aggressive but the cotton is very rough and will definitely scratch highly polished surfaces)

So far, my wheels have looked and lasted the best with NXT Metal Polish.
