  • Diluted Woolite + Water as leather cleaner?

    Hi all,

First off feel free to move this to the right folder if this topic doesn't belong in this section of the forum.

Now does anyone use diluted woolite + water as a leather cleaner for a long term basis? Supposedly if one must use diluted woolite and water for leather cleaning, one must mixed a dilution of 10/1 where 10 = water and 1 = woolite.

For those of you who are using woolite + water for a long time, does it have any negative effect on the leather? I actually tried it before and it does indeed clean the leather pretty good. But now, I have been using this product from Meguiars as a cleaner and conditioner: http://autogeek.net/megoclrileal.html

This product performs pretty well and it's cost efficient. Mike Phillips and Michael Stoops, do you guys use diluted woolite + water(10/1 ratio) for leather cleaner? Do you recommend it? Thanks

    Hi Precision,

I don't personally use Woolite for cleaning leather. I use the Meguiar's G10916 Gold Class Rich Leather Spray as it's a cleaner, conditioner and protectant all in one and it actually works really well.

Other's may chime in also as Woolite is a popular light or gentle duty, easily available cleaner.

You can also do a search using the search term Woolite
