    Re: quick question

Meguiar's Smooth Clay Kit. I have to use this about once a month to remove the sap that bonds to my paint from parking at work.

        Re: quick question

It seems that you're not using sufficient amount of lubricant while claying.

            Re: quick question

Use sufficient enough to keep the surface always lubricated. You don't need to apply pressure to the clay, just glide it back and forward continuosly

Light pressure, a good amount of lube, Try quik detailer or last touch diluted 1:1 and you should be okay.

It could be the clay is bad, have you ever used it with something else besides a quality mist and wipe product?

How fast are you moving your hand? If you move your hand slowly the clay has time to smudge at the end of your throw. Claying should be a fairly fast hand movement just to avoid smudging.
