  • First detail--new paint

I am going to wax my new paint job for the first time. It is a cheap paint job with one coat with the clear coat mixed in. I can't use any abrassive polishes, but other than NXT, what should I put on it? Thanks

You could use a mild cleaner, or a pure polish, or both.....

The DC system is very mild.

Does it look great right now?

Being thin like you state they shouldn't and couldn't have sanded and buffed it so it shouldn't have any swirls.

So just wash and wax it. If it's new and in great shape it shouldn't need any correction work.

          Thanks mike.

There is not a scratch on it right now.

I will wash it then wax thanks!

When I get my DA in the mail, can I use a finishing pad and use NXT or is that abrasive?

            Perfect approach.

Use a speed setting around the 4.0

After you wipe the dried wax off take a pictures and share it!

              Great, thanks...

I will do it by hand today and post a pic.

              Can't wait for the DA.
