hello, has anyone ever tried to dye white seatbelts to black seatbelts?

Re: how do I dye seatbelts?

After reading numerous posts of the years of problems with dyes on seat materials and the problems people have had trying to clean their seats, dying something that is going to be next to the seat all the time sounds like a recipe for disaster or future posts asking how to remove black dye from your seats.

    What color are your seats?
What kind of car is this you're working on?

Check with your local auto body supply store for SEM they mfg fabric, leather and vinyl dyes.

I have used them for years with no problems. you can call there toll free # for application help. 1-800-831-1122 or www.sem.ws

Going from a light color to a darker color works very well with SEM.

        SEM products do work well...

Hypothetically... if the seat belts are white, wonder what color the seats are?

        (Thus the previous question)
