  • Has anyone ever used any of Auto Magic's products?

I'm just curious to see if anyone has ever used products from Auto Magic, and if so what products they liked. I tend to use different brands because I just like to "play the field" so to speak and see what is actually out there for car care supplies. I've used some of Meguiar's products and gotten outstanding results, and I've used some Meguiar's products and only gotten so-so results. I've also gotten outstanding results with some Auto Magic products and only so-so results with other Auto Magic products. Actually, you have to get Auto Magic supplies through a local distributor, and the warehouse for their distributor here in East TN is only located about 20 minutes from my house, so it's easy for me to get what I want. Anyway, just trying to do some product comparisons and thought I'd see what everybody else had to say. Thanks!

I have used some of their products. Like you said they are okay, I much

prefer Meguiars. When I did buy them the distributor I used was not very

knowledgeable about the products and their uses. He seemed more interested

in getting me to buy a lot of stuff rather than get me what I needed.

Maybe they only operate in Tennessee, I had never heard of them either until

I moved here. Hope this helps.

The only products I've considered trying out from them are their heavier duty carpet cleaners.

Moved out of Company & Forum Announcements forum and into Detailing 101. The Company & Forum Announcements forum is for company and forum announcements, not really for general questions about the topic of detailing.

Please post threads like this to our Detailing 101 forum. When in doubt the Detailing 101 forum is a pretty good catch-all forum you can post just about anything.

If my memory is correct, Auto-Magic supplies commercial users (i.e. Fleets, Rental car agencies, et al).

I've used a few of their polishes back in the day, I think they were more geared for high volume work.

They make a buffing cleaner wax called BC2. I though that BC2 was very good. Other detailers I knew liked it as well. You could buff with a wool pad and have very little buffing swirls if any. It was very fast to use, and if you applied a hand wax over it it would look very good. It was used a lot on used cars. It filled more scratches then it removed, but like I said it looked good. Auto Magic clay is also very good.

I've seen thier products and I bought some of thier brushes... And they are growing in my country since they are much cheaper. I'll buy undercariage coating they produce. Not interesting in thier pollishes, waxes and pads. I'll stick to meguiar's

I have some automagic stuff in my supplies. I have some awesome gloss it's their polymer sealent.works pretty good if you ask me. I have some compounds buy them stuff called XP compound no.87 and also synthetic compound also.I purchased most of my stuff from a Auto magic Van that goes around to car dealers and detail shops.I am a Mobile detailer and buy most of my waxes and stuff by the gallon.I like using Meguiars stuff,as for my 2 cents worth Auto magic does have some really good stuff.

They have the US patent on Auto clay, so any clay you buy in the US is from them, from what I understand, at least for another couple years.

These are Clay Magic people pretty much. I have 3 things currently from them, 1 of which I'll probably buy more of. 2 Soaps and 1 Glaze. The Glaze is so-so and one of the soaps is very comparable to Hyperwash. Its my go-to for my foam cannon since its $50 for 5 gallons

A couple of years ago I had my car professionally detailed... some three stage process ????? whatever... and their final wax was Auto Magic. It was quite nice and did seem to last a long time if I remember correctly. That said,
the Megs #16 has it all all over them. The #16 is STILL beading after, what...four months. Amazing stuff.
