The only thing i ever used it for was to clean my trucks bedliner along with soap and water. I have Meguiars APC now so i dont really use it for much else. Im sure others will chime in

            Re: Simple Green

I used to use Simple Green a lot.

Now I use either APC or Eagle One All Wheel Tire Cleaner to clean the tires. I used it on my boys' '67 Dodge D100 and it got them pretty clean and they were pretty nasty. I have read/heard that Simple Green can stain certain metals, so be careful.....I had a shift knob turn green after using it, it was grey.....

              Re: Simple Green

No need for Simple Green when you have Meg's APC, Super Degreaser, and Wesley's Bleche White--Which is amazing

Spray the Wesley's on the tire and the gunk melts right off. Nothing's better on White Lettering/Walls IMO.

I have heard Simple Green can affect certain metals if left on very long so I have stayed away from it. Use any powerful product with care.

                  Re: Simple Green

I would stick with the APC. Have heard that Simple green is kind of touchy on some metals. you have to be very careful with the dilution.

                    I don't like Simple Green
                    It's very mild
You can use it as an air freshener

So many better products out there
                    Especially for tires

Simple to use and your letters will actually BE white!

                      Re: Simple Green

Simple green is way too powerful and will leave a filmy/slimy residue if not rinsed properly. I used it a lot in my old job, and regardless if it was used full strength or 1:1, I was not impressed with it's cleaning ability.
