Re: What to use for light color cars
Do you have any type of machine?
If by hand, check your paint finish, you probably need to clay the paint, correct any swirls and finish with a wax.
Ultimate Compound and SwirlX are great new products to use by hand. Finish with your favorite wax.Philippians 2:14 - Do all things without grumbling or questioning,

Re: What to use for light color cars
If you havent done much since you got it, adding a paint cleaner, or at least a cleaner/wax would probably be helpfull.
1. Wash - Gold Class or Nxt Soap, 2 buckets, quality towels, sponge, etc.
2. Clay - Smooth Surface Clay kit
3. ColorX
4. Wax - Nxt 2.02017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: What to use for light color cars
After applying two coats of NXT/2.0 and letting it cure I like to top it with Pinnacle Signature Series II. To my eyes (ymmv) it cuts some of the razor sharp reflectivity and refraction on my silver car and adds liquidity and depth while allowing the metallic flake to "pop" and eliminating that "candy coated" look.
<====== See Avatar for an example of what I mean. Plus the SSII is a true wipe on/wipe off product so this last step takes very little time versus the results acheived.
