  • GC Leather Cream v. Leather Spray

I usually use Gold Class Rich Leather Conditioner Cream. I really like how this stuff works, but when I when to do a quick weekly clean of the interior I end up spending at least an hour apply the the thick cream.

I am thinking about picking up a bottle of the GC spray leather conditioner. Does the spray formula offer the same protection, conditioners etc? And most importantly, will the spray formula produce the same supple look as the rich leather conditioner cream, or will it leave that nasty shiny/oily look?

For me the cream works nice as a deep clense and the spray keeps it looking good.

I haven't really noticed a difference. I use spray and cream the same.

I use both, the Foam, Gel, and Liquid Spray have the same protection and such...

I always use the "cream" though

Spot on, couldn't of said it better. I've been using the cream for a long time and love it, but recently picked up the spray. It's definitely quicker and easier to apply than the cream. For regular maintenence, the spray works amazing. But for really dirty leather that needs cleaning, I don't think you can beat the deep cleaning of the cream.

I like the spray version a lot. I tried the wipes and they performed just as well.

FWIW, I just used it on a Dodge, the seats turned out beautiful and were not greasy to the touch. I don't have leather seats but I may have future details with leather and thought the cream would just take too long, but would like to try it.

When I use anything like that, I use the even coat applicator, those things work great when I use any of my dressings! Those white furry ones

I tend to use the cream when more deep cleaning is needed, then sprays for the inbetween touchups.

It can be kind of hard to 'work in' a spray when a certain area needs more cleaning.

If you use the spray, take a wash cloth or a microfiber polishing cloth folded 4-ways, spray and dampen one side with the Gold Class Leather Cleaner/Conditioner and then use this dampened side to wipe down leather surfaces.

                  Add more product as needed.

By using a dampened cloth in this manner you don't get any overspray onto surrounding components and you don't fill up seams, stitching or perforated holes with cream.

i have actually found that applying with a Hi Tech applicator pad and then wiping excess product off with a microfiber really leaves the leather feeling nice and plush and not greasy at all, whether I am using the cream or spray version it still works great.

To clean I use the cream.
                      To mantain it's the spray.
